Read this author's other book HOW TO BE A TRAVELER, NOT A TOURIST and didn't think much of it. This one is very worth while. It contains very specific information about how to get good airfares, when to book, when to travel, and how to have the most enjoyable (or least miserable!) flight. There's also good info on packing and even ideas about how to make a lay-over more comfortable. (He suggests a nap in the prayer room. This reminds me of Norm Shriever's very entertaining travel book PUSH-UPS IN THE PRAYER ROOM. Like Shriever, he does say that you should be respectful to those who are using the room for it's intended purpose.) I think this book would be helpful to anyone traveling by air for business or pleasure. It is very well written, down-to-earth, and cuts through some of the hysterical hype found in much cheap airfare advice. Pretty good. Some tips I didn't know of.
Great resource, I still have more pages to finish but I sure will study this book for my big trip next year. Meanwhile, glad to know that I did well booking my upcoming trip on Wed departure. This also makes a fun present to friends who loves to travel.
I found this book a good travel guide that was able to provide the reader good sound advice. i found the provided websites a great addition.
