I love Lynn Kurland books and this is one of the best. The H and h will touch your heart with their deep love for each other and the seeming impossibility of achieving a happily ever after. A few unexpected twists added depth and additional delight to the plot.
I first found Lynn Kurland about 8 years ago and since then I've gobbled up every story that she's written and waited with bated breath for the next. This was, without a doubt another absolute win. Warm fuzzies delivered with just the right amount of suspense to keep one turning the pages and afraid to put the book down. And, as always, can't wait for the next one. Definitely a good read for anyone who loves the DePiaget and McCloud clans )
All of Lynn Kurland's books are great, including the three "fantasy" world princess ones - but then who doesn't love big, yummy guys who can fight with swords? This one's a fun adventure in the next installment of the Scotland/England living inter-related brood of Scots, Brits, ghosts, & Yanks over 800 years of fmaily history. It's fun to visit past couples and get update/predates as new central charaters move about. I liked meeting the newest match making ghost and loved meeting Mary's many young male cousins. I aniticipate future stories involving them. While each of her books could stand alone, to get the full quota of fun they really should be read in order. Can't wait for the next one!
My only problem with Lynn Kurland's Macleod - DePiaget storylines is my voracious appetite for not only the main characters....but for finding old friends interwoven within almost each story including 3 wonderfully inept ghosts. Anyone for Mickey Mouse ears?

When a Kurland book arrives, I'm tempted to abandon what I'm reading but will instead, finish that book and savor the anticipation of diving into her newest story.

Being of Scottish descent, I love all things Scottish...including that talented (and beyond-beautiful) actor G.B. (most of you probably know who), and I often picture him when reading about Jamie Macleod or Robin of Artane.

And so to G.B. and all of Lynn's characters, my heart whispers...

Several reviewers found this book not up to Kurland's usual standards. I can only assume they were having bad days. This one won't kick "Stardust of Yesterday" or "This is All I Ask" out of their spots as my all time favorites , but I would rank it somewhere in the middle of her books, and thats still miles ahead of most other authors. Interesting to find both hero & heroine to be folks we already knew from past books. I started out very fond of Zach and it was nice to get to know more about Mary. You'll never catch me complaining about Robin and/or Kendrick making cameo appearances. I suspect I'd find Lynn Kurlands grocery list entertaining. 5 stars from me,as usual.
Can't resist a good Kurland Novel - and this is as enjoyable as all the previous tales.
Poor Zack starts out with the best intentions - no more time travel, no paranormal. So of course he gets into it deep. He tries so hard to do the right thing and not mess with time - but it wouldn't have a happy ending if he didn't. Mary is spunky and no nonsense.
Enjoyed seeing previous characters from the series popping up again - and the characters never seem to lose their luster - no matter which incarnation.
I find that I enjoy Kurland's not overly sex laden stories because they definitely have the romance. When I need to read a good romance, I go back and visit these intertwined in time families just for the happiness for them and that they bring.
I just discovered Lynn Kurland's books 2 months ago and I have to admit, I am addicted!!!!! It's almost tempting to jump a plane to England and start wandering around in gardens and fields......... )
Lynn can you possibly write faster? I have been snatching up her books with lightning speed, how can you not love the MacLeod and de Piaget Families. After reading this book "Till there was you", I am very curious as to what has happened to John de Piaget - Montgomery's twin (taking his fortune and disappearing after arguing with Rhys) and what Isabelle's story is? Her son is all thru out the book, yet I have found nothing mentioned of whom she married. I hope there are books concerning those 2 people coming in the future - I can hardly stand it. Reader beware...once you start - you won't be able to stop!
